This post is inspired by the dream I had where the joker slid down a stripper pole in the middle of court while singing an amazing rendition of Haunted by Beyoncé, goofy pictures of the man he killed raining down around him. Then the music stopped and the scene hard cut to the joker on the stand 1/
The joker 2 could have been an amazing jukebox musical that explored the joker in ways we’ve never seen before. They could’ve pulled a Mulan and had over the top musical numbers in the first half and then no musical numbers in the second half, to juxtapose and explore versions of the joker

It’s truly a tale as old as time, whenever I read the way some colonizers talked about queer gender expressions in indigenous communities I get Deja vu, so many of the talking points are similar! Colonizer bullshit indeed🙄

Nobody ever talks about the way adhd will fuck you over in regards to getting over fears in the same way it will with maintaining habits, I keep having to get over my fear of taking pills and then I’ll skip taking my medication for one (1) day and it’ll come right back… this might just be a me thing

I used to just read books very fast as a kid and my parents would do this to me, they’d quiz me on parts of the book and when I got stuff right they’d say I looked it up😭
I know it’ll never actually stop bc people are annoying but i think accusing audiobook listeners who speed up the narration of being liars that aren’t actually enjoying or processing the words should be left behind in 2024
