The objective we seek should be finding the best balance point to include advancements, but in a way that works best for the planet on which we live, and all the other living beings that inhabit the planet with us.

Antibiotics. Antivirals.

I will add computers, but with so many conditions attached.

Sewing machines, looms, vacuums, washing machines, refrigerators, and so many other time-saving devices are worthwhile.

I won't list everything, but the point I'm making is that progress can be very good.

All of these and so many more items connect to our materialism, our clamor for more, and more. We need an entire change in mindset, and we need to become aware of how our actions affect the world around us. *We* need to hold corporations and governments accountable. The change begins at the bottom.

The largest source of plastics in the ocean come from rivers that drain into the oceans.

Large parts of the world are desertifying. Many animals are either extinct or becoming extinct, happening in our lifetimes.

Western-diet-related diseases are growing around the world. Obesity is spreading.

California, the producer of a large percentage of foods, is losing their farm lands due to subsidence caused by 1. loss of water in aquifers from high demand, and 2. the extraction of oil reserves.

Certain nations have become huge waste receivers, receiving massive amounts of waste.

Unfortunately, this way of thinking, and living that we've become accustomed to comes with high costs. Unless you are activing devouring different sources of information that help to create a larger picture, it is easy to miss these warning messages that are being broadcase.

Here's just a few.

. . . we learn to become better stewards, better citizens, and part of a greater whole. We return to communities.

There is so much more that could be said about this, but we would heal our world if we recognized we need to change and restore.

This means we change how we live on the land. How we interact with the land. It brings humans back to the earth, and back to the natural world.

If we do this we heal society, we heal our souls. As we recognize that we do not live separate from everything around us, but as an important part . . .

We watch as keystone species are reintroduced to lands that have been opened for them and the land becomes healed, the water soaks into the ground, the way the animals live restores living conditions for other animals to return. We watch a miracle occur as we return the lands to what they should be.

We uncover the land. We tear down fences. We introduce native animals, predator, and prey, and let them live as they were evolved to live. This returns us to living as we evolved to live, with our instincts used again as we evolved to use them.

We have the knowledge of what we need to do. The problem is, it becomes an inconvenience, it destroys our current way of life. It calls on people to make serious changes in the way we live.

What we do is restore, restore, restore.

Maybe we should look at Italy's coop system.

We need to recognize the truth of this and take responsibility for what we've wrought. We are now required to function at a higher level. This needs to happen at a grassroots level. Citizens need to know, and we need to respond. This is imperative.
December 15, 2025 at 8:15 PM
There is a bigger picture that requires recognition and response from the world. We need to become actors and not reactors. While many people around the world embrace nationalism, and isolation, we are a global world. Technology has brought this about and makes it an unchangeable fact.

The U.S. elections were largely influenced by Russian interference. We now have a POTUS that kisses the ring of Putin. The U.S. has become part of the problem rather than part of the solution. Where we might once have led the efforts against this widespread maliciousness we are now complicit.
