Significantly more expensive for intl students, they help subsidize tuition for QC students. Not very disabled friendly, healthcare access is horrendously slow unless you pay for faster private care. The gov doesn’t offer free covid vaccines to all anymore and does little to promote vax in general

and other tools can cover for that 10%. I work in kitchens with powerful hood vents constantly extracting air, even though I occasionally lower my respirator to taste or drink, I’ve never gotten sick while my coworkers perpetually are

Whether or not you can manage perfect compliance with this is a whole other issue then whether the tool itself works. It absolutely works. And harm reduction is still important. If you wear a mask 90% of the time, you’ll still have lower overall odds of getting sick or passing on illness.

Does it also apply when synagogues are holding real estate events for land in illegal West Bank settlements? pivot.quebec/2024/03/08/i...

Agreed, we’re already getting surveilled to hell and back, reducing dangerous driving along the way doesn’t affect privacy. No one cares that much about their driving habits being filmed, they just wanna speed and run reds for free (cops especially hate equal treatment from automated enforcement)

Your social media already tells them your physical location, they don’t need to scan cameras for your license plate.

In Montreal, only the province can install speed & red light cameras, and largely refuses to. That didn’t stop the cops from installing surveillance cameras on intersections that do nothing for the safety of our streets. If you care about privacy, don’t get around with a license plate tied to you

I’ve had drivers swerve around my car to turn right before me because I wait until the the end of the green forward arrow before turning. Too many drivers have life threatening levels of impatience

Those are during snow removal afterwards, they just plow when the snow is still falling

D’après l’Olympia, le problème c’est le manque d’espace de déchargement. Ils semblent assez conscient que les clients et leurs employés viennent à vélo. Par contre, c’est partout à Montréal qu’on rend la livraison difficile en priorisant le stationnement.

God MTL recently plopped an extra traffic light on my street, in theory it should slow people down on this 40kmh chemin that’s built to easily go 70, but all it does is add another red light to burn for cars and more waiting for perpetually late and overcrowded bus.
