It’s nearly 15 years since I called Safeline, when they were still regional iirc. That call snowballed into me letting go of shame, me embracing therapy, and ultimately me getting to be alive (and not even be that miserable) right now.

🚨 NEW: Labour is shutting down Safeline, the only dedicated helpline for male survivors of sexual abuse.
Safeline is solely funded by government to the tune of £250,000 a year. Labour is cancelling all of that funding, thus forcing it to close.
