RIP to the President from my home state who lectured at my alma mater @emoryuniversity. My parents met when he was POTUS during the Iran hostage crisis - my dad an Iranian immigrant, a student in Alabama, a difficult time of anti Iranian sentiment. Even my Sicilian grandfather did not approve.
