路透社/益普索的民調顯示，除了上述支持率之外，還有47%的人反對這項計劃，36%的人表示不確定或直接跳過了這個問題。大多數人認為這不是個“好主意”。

就連一向狂熱的共和黨人也對這項法西斯計畫支持冷淡，支持率出乎意料地低，僅40%的人表示支持。而在民主黨人中，這一比例更是暴跌至2%。

在所有成年人中，只有不到5%的人認為武力奪取格陵蘭島是個好主意。
