I can't believe it. I reworked the entire expression evaluation part and still got time to make some progress on lists...
At this rate Neu v1 will be out before the end of this year :0

Small improvements to Neu-v0

String concatenation, printing to the same line, and automatic type conversion when reading from stdin

Neu program for testing some new features. The program reads: program, test, number "i", text message empty string, text stuff, read "i", read stuff, loop "i" times, message = empty string, loop "i" times, message = message + stuff, end loop, print message and 10 and message, end loop, end program

The output of the test program. Reads "i" as 3, reads "stuff" as "hi". Prints "hihihi" 10 "hihihi" three times

Loops are finally here. And with that I have finished Neu version 0. Time for testing and refactoring...
The open release still has to wait for user testing, but I am quite proud of what I managed to accomplish.

The next version will have arrays and file IO, but don't hold your breath for that :D

Added if statements to Neu.
And also basic functionality to read input from the user (currently only integers).

I think this project is now at the stage that I will talk about it more publicly.
I am writing my own programming language, Neu. Pronounced same as "Neumann".
It's syntax is based on a "teaching" or "learning" language used at our university. That is why it has mixed Hungarian and English keywords.
