Yes I know. Then it's not a plus for him, but if he does drive, it is. And it's a plus even if he takes the bus or train, it saves time, which is often a reason for not exercising.

If you have the room , build a home gym. You won’t have to wait to use it or drive to the gym. And you’re right about the muscle thing, as I have learned recently. You have to do it.

I tell anyone who will listen to me talk about this that apple is the smartest big tech co for not spending 100s of billion$ on AI, they will spend it when the dust settles & it is cheaper. I think those 3 + MSFT do believe AI is an existential threat, so spending 1/2 their profits is not crazy.

I think these very profitable giants realize the return on their AI investments won't be great (or even good), but they need to do it to make sure they survive the AI revolution, which will impact their existing sources of revenue. Disaster insurance isn't cheap.

the only AI companies that will be able to borrow soon will be the ones that don't need to borrow, & maybe if the ones that need to borrow won't be able to, which might lead to the ones who don't need to borrow thinking that they won't need to keep pouring $$ into more data centers.

I think because there is a long lead time, companies who bought them in anticipation of building data centers don't want to give them up, so they will hold on to them until they are ready to be deployed.

if Chinese companies cannot buy H200 chips, they will just spend more on chips from other companies, probably from Chinese companies, helping them to grow into nvidia competitors. China will just print more money to buy those more expensive chips, or maybe use some of the dollars they have.
