Who would like a distraction from *waves hand around*? Step back into 1995, then, and read this short mystery piece about an all-girl grunge band and their POS manager. Crime ensues. Listen to Radiohead while you do it. www.unchartedmag.com/stories/1995/

It feels so odd promoting a book right now but if you want to read about a Jersey girl taking down Corporate America (and all its ills), then this is the read for you. I don't mess around when it comes to comeuppance. #books

We're into the last 6 hours of the Crime Writers for Trans Rights Auction. One of my wonderful collaborators on the auction @sgwong.com created this graphic for me showing what I'd be bidding on if I could bid—I can't bid, but you can. Go for it—And thanks for making the auction a HUGE success.

Authors, if you have access to Peacock, watch the SNL documentary they did about the show writers. As a novelist, it gave me so much validation. We are all just hoping our shit will get picked.

For the love of all that is holy, if you can, watch The Homecoming Concert for SNL50. I'm not sure what I'm loving more. Eddie Vedder, the Lonely Island tribute, Backstreet Boys...I'm only half-way through.

I've been struggling to listen to political podcasts -- I've given up on cable news -- but Jon Stewart's Weekly Show Podcast is excellent, and his interview with AOC gives me some hope that Dems will get their shit together.

Who is 50% through drafting their WIP? Anyone else? It's such a weird spot to be in. On one end, I'm over the hump. But also, I have so much left to do.
