Local Milwaukee Crank. YIMBY. Bikes are the future. Buses are good actually

Unrelated to anything I’ll likely post here I’m a Salesforce Architect open to work
It’s a walkable area, Nick! How far do you want people to have to go for a gas station?

This is an advantage of the shitbox vans I drove in high school. Technically it's max speed was probably 110 or something, but when I got on an empty 355 and pushed it past 80 the shaking was enough for my simple brain to realize it was a bad idea.

It’s a dumb game anyway

(Unless I win, then it’s an American classic)

Look how much money you'd have if you made an investment with this completely made up price, rate of return, and time in market!

Why would anyone _pay_ a financial advisor when insights like that are available for free?

That math won’t hunt either. If you’re 37 making $300k+ and only have $1.5mil saved, retiring isn’t going to go well (that’s like $60k/yr). There has to be another income source in there

In fairness Mother Nature played dirty this year

If you all hadn’t dragged me to Lake Mills I’d still have mine on from last winter

Dammit, I have enough to do this month 🙃

We're still doing this?!

Growing up Holy Saturday (Easter) was at grandma and grandpa’s house. The cousins would hunt plastic eggs outside, then we would go inside for breakfast and an egg cracking contest

(Two people each take a hard boiled egg and hit them together, whoever’s breaks is out)

yes, hello, I would like to place an order for everyone’s funniest stories of holiday food-related family grudges / drama / chaotic incidents / lore

I feel like we need this

There were 17 cousins in town, plus a handful who might visit and the aunts/uncles. Call it 25-30 people any given year. Grandma would boil and dye dozens of eggs.

One year she dutifully boiled 4 dozen eggs, dyed 5 dozen, and handed them all out to be cracked…

Nope! But I absolutely love how quiet things get when there’s snow out so it’s interesting I never thought of that.

You think so? The screen definitely looks weird but it’s hard to tell without knowing what language it’s supposed to be

The exit signs look perfectly normal to me and I’m not seeing what you are on the water bottles

Why are they running down the middle of a 20,000 person city they have no intention of stopping in?

No relief like your wife saying "I'm not ready for the cold, can we drive" 😂
