After years of complaining about cancel culture, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like.
Gotta love right side grifters on the Jimmy Kimmel stories going "there is no freedom of consequence" yeah I know because I said that to you guys years ago, but when the FCC is involved a government agency then it's time to ring alarm bells. Your government is silencing people!

The selective empathy around the Charlie Kirk shooting is just proof of how far off society has come undone. You have some who do acknowledge that people of both political sides have been killed, but then with this you also see people only naming people who died they agreed with. It’s performative.

Anyway #carecredit I hope you get another class action lawsuit. This current political climate may not care but that’s so scammy. Making products for financial gain over helping people when that card is specifically for helping people in bad spots is so sad and manipulative of its use.

Apparently #carecredit pre checks a box for payment on card security which assesses a payment fee to your account in case you fall behind. This is just another form of interest and by pre checking it themselves this means the user doesn’t really opt in themselves either.

Facebook clearly uses their algo for political separation. The older retirees seem to be the highest user group and will only read headlines. Are biggest mistake was never holding the technocrats responsible over Cambridge Analytica and they’re about to do way worse to all of us.

Shiny Happy People S2 reminds me of how they claimed promiscuity and the media was pushing some teens to seek out these Christian cults, which reminds me of today’s media and people saying it’s too sexualized that’s why people are attracted to read wives. So are we in another phase of that?
