What a remarkable Pope to accomplish great good in this world. Resisting dogma and taking incremental steps towards progress is an admirable legacy.

We should seek guidance from those who strive to save souls, not through dogmas or institutions, but by helping us discover our own humanity.
Pope Francis was a visionary leader who dedicated his life to service and justice. He encouraged us to protect our planet, championed a more inclusive church, and cared for all of God’s children — especially the most vulnerable among us.

Doug and I join the world in mourning his loss.
