I hope we never hear any of the "America first" nonsense from them. There are reasons for offshore teams, follow the sun coverage etc. that's not the case when there are 3 shifts offshore, in the same building.

Many companies use core IT staff in the states, that are a mix of citizens full time and H1B holders, with offshore teams that are all contractors for the bulk of the staff. (Don't ask how I know this......)

My habit is to write "trip reports" from tech events, it started about 35 years ago, and it's a habit I don't want to break. Many co-workers have never heard of this knowlege sharing, I'm still surprised it's not required in all companies.
