Writer, editor, foodie in my imagination, lots of thoughts.
No mention of #CoryBooker on the
@nytimes.com front page and only an editorial analysis on
@washingtonpost.com. @nbcnews.com has it hidden behind a "read more" button and @wsj.com has it as a "recommended video" toward bottom. Only @cnn.com
has it top of screen. Mostly spineless.

Funny thing when someone leaves your company and you start getting their email: You realize how many "marketers" shotgun their crap to everyone in the whole company, hoping to hit. No wonder so little of it works.

About halfway through The Henna Artist. Enjoying but I don't find myself particularly caring about any character--they're a bit flat. Anyone else? #booksky

JMJ, do they ever manage to do anything without totally cocking it up?
After the Social Security numbers of more than 400 former congressional staffers and others were made public in files related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, the White House acknowledged the breach and worked to mitigate the harm.

The Trump administration rushed to mitigate harm from the errant release of more than 400 Social Security numbers and other private information in files on JFK.

[Sen. Mark] Kelly ... commented to reporters when asked about Musk, "Obviously, he's not a serious guy."
"Elon, if you don't understand that defending freedom is a basic tenet of what makes America great and keeps us safe, maybe you should leave it to those of us who do."

If you're enjoying #withlovemeghan or you wish you liked it but feel like it's not quite hitting, highly recommend and very much enjoying Ranch to Table, on Max. Quiet, calm, beautiful to watch, recipes we'd actually make, really well filmed. Keep it going. :)

When is some wildly successful investor going to fund a private alternative to NOAA? There's good to be done and a market to be had.

Watched "You Hurt My Feelings" on Netflix and went looking for the book it's based on; I'd love a deeper dive into the story. Sadly, it was written as a movie and there is no book. Sigh.

So what I need is someone to look at data and tell me if these incidences are really growing in frequency, or if they're in line with other years and we're just hearing about them more.

Finished Ted Lasso last night. I already miss all those characters. What a treasure. Must find another positive, lovable series to combat the real world.

Good morning #BookSky! Looking for books for our women's bookclub--fiction (historic is fine, science not so much), good for conversation, non-political, available in paperback/library please. Your recommendations? 💙📚

A few episodes away from finishing Ted Lasso. First, I am going to be terribly sad to bid these characters farewell. The show lives up to everything everyone says. Joining the vast crowd hoping for another season sometime.

Second, Roy Kent is my spirit animal. It's been great to feel seen. :)

Not at all a conflict of interest. Nope. Nothing to see here.

Ain't no "except those people" clause in "love thy neighbor," y'all.
In its simplest terms, the apparent demise of #USAID is the result of the world's richest man ending a program that helps millions of poor people. You don't need a Ph.D. in moral theology to see why this is an evil. You can just read Jesus's parables on the rich and the poor.
