The biggest thing that helped me with spacing and positioning is to count the pixels in whatever gap you need to move/fill, then divide by the gui scale and that's how many "in-game pixels" you need to offset stuff by!

I'd recommend Severance - in addition to being excellent television, there are also brilliant themes of unionising, dehumanisation under capitalism and corporate greed.
