For the last two weeks my #animdiversity mentee and I worked on this short bouldering animation referencing Janja Garnbret. We took the time to really study the ref using primitives, making sure to build a solid foundation through blocking.

Hotkeys! I love hotkeys!
These hotkeys I use 97%+ of the time. I'll take hotkeys over tool windows anytime. Not that well designed tools are not good but for me they divert my attention from the viewport too frequently.

First blocking pass. Second lateral swing is more challenging than the first. Important to capture the effort put into each swing by throwing her legs to gain momentum, often overlooked is the arms also play an active role.
