it's really weird to hear the sanitized sales pitch for it too: "it will give you ubi and keep you fat and happy while it does all the work" - aren't these the same guys who think "raise taxes 2% and make buses free" is a wild fantasy of malign actors

for much of football season the priest is supposed to wear green and there’s at least one priest in Philly with an Eagles chasuble

I like the old liturgies (and even if I didn’t I’d say liturgical diversity is fine), but once it’s a proxy for schism you’ve got to drop the hammer on it.

their whole idea is that their special liturgy gives them a place to hide from the Modernist Papacy, and they’re confident that a future based pope will reverse any condemnation of them.

smh… another round of purity tests instead of Deciding to Win
What is so terribly broken about the Democratic policy world that anyone thought tapping *Larry Summers* for future economic policy was a reasonable thing to do, rather than completely unhinged?
NEW: Before the recent Epstein disclosures, Larry Summers was poised to lead the economic policy plank for the Democrats' "Project 2029" effort at the Center for American Progress. He signed off on a housing policy paper CAP was prepping for next week.
