that was recorded live in canada. the album it was originally on was I think the first record I ever owned, when I was in grade 6. I think it's still in my folks' basement.

hard to tell if that's lipsynced or not (being top of the pops). the bulk of it so close to the recording, but there's those extra interjections...

lol I reached a part where a guy's interviewing girls after a t rex concert, and their answers about what they thought of marc bolan cracked me up. 'he was gentle and pretty'. :-D that's hilarious, and also sweet. and true.
