woke up early but it's fine. I think I got enough sleep.
it's the day before payday so I was looking through the pantry. I still have a bunch of frozen cod - I think I'll bake some for supper, and make a quick tartar sauce. I'm making some rice now and doing egg fried rice for lunch.

I can't wait for my forms to come so I can do my taxes. I know, that's weird. but I always get money back (I work from home and can deduct stuff) so finding out what I'm getting is like opening a present. :-D going through what I've spent money on over the year is a bit sobering though. :-/

I had to bail on work this afternoon. my gut suddenly really hurt. I was getting ready to go to the doc and it stopped. I'm actually kinda annoyed that I left work for nothing. I'm gonna get at least a talking to for that. but yeah it's good that it was apparently nothing.

I've been watching 'a knight of the seven kingdoms' and I really like it. kind of a cross between game of thrones and a knight's tale and lone wolf and cub. the book it's based on is the only game of thrones book I didn't finish reading. maybe I will have another go at that after.

I've been watching 'a knight of the seven kingdoms' and I really like it. kind of a cross between game of thrones and a knight's tale and lone wolf and cub. the book it's based on is the only game of thrones book I didn't finish reading. maybe I will have another go at that after.
woke up at 4am but that's fine. that's normal for me after sleeping in yesterday. I'm waiting for the store to open to grab some more bananas for the pancakes. in the meantime I'll take out the trash and recycling and grab some coffee.

there have been leafblowers running outside and I thought they were clearing the walks or something (a leafblower is their favorite tool for everything). then there was this crash outside my balcony door. they're on the ROOF. the crash was ice and slush coming down. what the actual fuck.

okay I did get some sleep. I slept in but that was on purpose. with luck that won't affect tonight.

could the lack of sleep last night and not being tired today be a kind of withdrawal from the muscle relaxants? I stopped taking them because they were making me TOO drowsy, and maybe the removal of their influence made me feel more energetic. huh.
