I've been using a Mac Mini for the past few months and the amount of random bugs compared to the Apple laptops I've used for the 15 years prior is astonishing. Today's wierdness: after moving rooms, there's apparently a specific order in which I need to plug in my 3 monitors for them to work.

I did not expect Dwight Eisenhower to make an appearance on Crystal Pepsi’s Wikipedia page.

Kind of bummed that BBC radio will soon be unavailable outside the UK. For the past 20 years, I've been introduced to a lot of great new music via Steve Lamacq (and now Huw Stephens') shows.

I kind of hate everything about this. Alt text is meant for humans, not search engines, and you still need a human to determine what context (if any) an image adds to a web page.

Had very tempered expectations for Skeleton Crew, but 3 episodes in and this show is fun as hell.

I just realized that when you search for a font, Google will sometimes display results in said font.

Had a lot of fun working on this one. Via @codepen.io, here's a (Chrome only) pure CSS version of Wordle.

A Pure CSS version of Wordle. Uses style queries and anchors tied to scroll-driven animations to do most of the heavy lifting....

Made a script yesterday that pulls down still images from publicly accessible traffic cameras at regular intervals, with the goal of creating a timelapse video that spans several months. 24 hours in and I've been obsessively checking it all day like "Woah, it's 3 more frames longer now."
