Do you know the story of Alice and Freda? I told that tale while giving tours downtown, but it was only in the past few years that the company I work for was hired to install a monument for Frederica Ward, murdered in 1892.

The Orpheum, along with the Halloran Centre for Performing Arts & Education, compose the Orpheum Theatre Group, a community-supported nonprofit corporation that operates and maintains the venues and presents education programs.
