A monarch cocoon at @linleyps house. And a walk in the (dark) park. Saw, but to scared to walk, the new path entry. Just saw the lights at the ex-Memphis College of Arts were on - first time in a long time. It's dark too soon. 5:30 should still be light, but same weather!

The original pencil on layout paper was light-boxed to ink the Bristol (I hate erasing pencils and making the ink lighter).

In this piece, Gonzo wears the helmet and some costume from the Pearl Bailey episode of The Muppet Show. Obviously, I exchanged the Spamalot chicken for Camilla, and his belt pattern copies the pattern on the microphone Dave Goelz wore while filming The Muppet Show.
