The wuffies are at their usual suck level, even with its new coach. It's disappointing, but at least this head coach has a relationship with the opposite sex* that is within societal norms.

The virologist in me wants to know how that virus goes dormant in a carrier. Is it something the virus does, or is it just a result of an immune response? Both? Finding that out may lead to better control.

Crooks Corner used to rotate different 'cue joints from the state, on their menu. I loved going there just to get a sammich and test out new NC BBQ. Man, that place needs to reopen.

Maybe. All I know is that I haven't enjoyed S5 so far, as much as I did the earlier seasons. It's story lines seeming more redundant, the aging of the actors, and a really huge gap between seasons are adding up to that.

Even though State gets to play in something like the Huqsvarna Backpack Blower Bowl, we aren't all that thrilled about our mailing-it-in head coach either. The apathy is palpable. If he is replaced, I just hope the UNC situation has taught the PTB at State a lesson.

I have general disdain for blowers too, but I cannot rake leaves off of my back paver patio. Doing so harms the polymeric sand that bonds everything together. So I reluctantly blow leaves off of my patio. At least I use an electric model so it is a bit quieter. I mow in all the leaves on my lawn.

Waters hasn't toured in the USA in 2-3 years. I remember seeing this concert image way back. Still hilarious and worth the revisit.
