"President to engage in unprecedented levels of whining in effort to preserve illegal tax hikes on American consumers".

I've said before that the problem with a lot of progressives (or "progressives") is that they've been trained by media pundits to demand outcomes rather than progress. The means to an end don't exist - if they can't get the end RIGHT NOW it's all a failure.

Who is the current speaker of the house, Kevin?

And even those movies make Frankenstein himself a much more vile character compared to the book. As increasingly monstrous as the monsters are, Victor is even worse.

There's a reason the media only picked up on the Epstein thing again when Elon tweeted about it.

You don't know what the DNC does.

I remember someone on Twitter said Newsom inviting right-wingers onto his podcast made sense less if he was preparing to run for President and more that he wanted to be the media's favorite Dem.

Here's a galaxy-brained theory - he was building media cred to he could more effectively attack Trump.

One of the reasons I had no emotional investment in the primary was because historically mayor of NYC is an office where the holder is more or less guaranteed to be hated within a year and a half.

To be clear, though, that's not meant to be a dig against Mamandi - I want him to be a good mayor!

No she's not.

You're just a misogynist.

It's because it would require acknowledging that Biden had real legislative accomplishments, and that's against the rules.

I've been saying for a while that a new adaptation of "First Blood" wouldn't be a bad idea.

So why are the people who want a new young Rambo movie doing a backflip over the really solid material that is RIGHT THERE!?!

So that's CNN, Politico, the Washington Post, the New York Times, MSNBC's morning show...

What branches of the mainstream press ***haven't*** pushed articles trying to bury the Epstein story at this point?

And in that case it feels like the sort of thing that should be sold in an opaque bag.

And Nancy Pelosi sending out stimulus checks.

Reminds me of what Orson Welles said - the fact that we can imagine a golden age of the past is one of the things that makes us fundamentally human, even if the golden age never truly existed in the first place.

The joke that stuck with me most was when the movie turned a mention of Miranda Rights into an extended riff on "Sex and the City".

It's one of many jokes that I imagine was written or conceptualized" based on "how funny would this sound coming out Liam Neeson's mouth?"
