The lack of accountability the SPEED Act would enable—championed by fossil fuels & Abundance folk alike—is exacerbated, ironically, by the fact that it would legislatively preclude the use of NEPA to substantively demand better outcomes in the public interest! WTF?
Riddle me this: The Abundance agenda, purports to seek outcome (vs. process) oriented decision-making via "permitting reform."
If that's the case, why the hell are they supporting the SPEED Act, which would neuter the National Environmental Policy Act by making it "purely procedural"?

I also grew up in Detroit, and we had a couple dozen “aunts and uncles” who were close friends of my parents. We all still call them “aunt” and “uncle,” too.
