The overarching problem is that they saw the small amount of Black students as subpar and felt they were taking their spots, not that the White students who were legacy or their parents were big donors (wink) were actually the ones who didn’t measure up.
The lawyer that represented Asian students who helped break Affirmative because they thought Black students were less qualified and shouldn't have gotten in. is now suing because Asian enrollment is down at select Ivy-league schools. Come to find out, it is white students who have always benefited.

Good. It’s horrific how other platforms abused their reach to strangle local, independent, and national outlets alike.
I WANT to see news and actual vetted work and I WANT journalists to get rewarded for it.

It’s “government overreach” to stop companies from charging junk fees and being misleading to consumers too I bet.

This is the most tiring conversation to have. As a professional who does equity work I’ve wanted to flip the table every time I hear the veiled racist remarks made towards clearly qualified folks (often women of color) for these roles. 😒
Lee: When Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson was up for confirmation or when VP Harris was added to the ticket, they called them DEI hires. They want you to believe that Harvard graduate with over 20 years of experience is not qualified but Fox personality is qualified to run the DOD
