The fight against toxic Anti-Wokeness is fraught, subtle, uncertain, and hazardous. Yet it is also virtuous, hopeful, redemptive, and existentially vital not only to millions of Americans, but also to the moral health of America itself.

The pen is only mightier than the sword if you dare to use it.
So what are you writing today?

My pleasure. Once you get the feel of fountain pens, there’s no going back!

Yes Pilot’s Iroshizuku inks are absolutely beautiful. They are designed and named after colors in nature.

Hey Doomscrollers. I have a radical, old-school coping strategy for these turbulent times: Cursive Handwriting! Studies show that cursive handwriting enhances brain function, memory/retention, and is soothingly therapeutic.

I'm thinking of coming up with a system. Anyone interested?

Sometimes you need to focus on the small victories…like successfully fixing the hopeless clogs in your favorite fountain pen. Because good words are essential to any successful defense against injustice.

The Manchurian Candidate is now playing on Amazon Prime. Terrifyingly prescient and relevant. I’m surprised Bezos allowed this on his site!

I love my local post office. I’ll mourn the day when Trump shuts it down and turns it into an Amazon distribution center. And when Jeff Bezos then charges us $1.50 to mail a letter.

For white kids in the 70s, this was a lunch thermos. But for me, Dad had to train me in its use as a self-defense weapon against racist bullying. The metal lunch box was also a key self-defense weapon. But the Hot Wheels that came with the lunch box were still fun and cool.

People say I'm tilting at windmills when I push back against online trolls who revel in using "woke" and "wokeness" as a pejorative slur. But then I read books like Fear of Black Consciousness by Lewis Gordon (@lewgord.bsky.social) and I draw strength in knowing I'm on the right track.
