But clear acrylic bases are fiddly to stick on minis because the only way to do it is by using superglue that could easily cloud the base.

Also in large numbers transport can be a nightmare, which is why I reverted to traditional bases that can be magnetized.
Marines on textured bases. The entire army in a box to be transported. The mini bases have magnetic strips that would attatch to the sheet magnet lined on the bottom of the box.

I don't like to spend much effort in miniature bases. So I tried clear acrylic bases, but after a while I switched to textured bases.

Clear bases are great because they blend with any terrain board, and no painting needed.

The top of the track compartments were a bit bare so I even printed some add ons that can serve as wound tracker!
