I'm convinced that drone targets in Kyiv are chosen by Sergei and his mates chucking darts at a map of the city while getting sloshed on trench moonshine.
(The darts were stolen from a Ukrainian bar in occupied Donetsk, because of course they were.)

Yeah. We already know for a fact that many of these operations are run and financed out of Russia, but it doesn't surprise me that most of the grunt labor is coming from elsewhere. (Also note that Russia has a *bit* of a labor shortage problem right now and those fake MAGAs are needed elsewhere 😉)

If I had to guess, it's outsourcing to bot farms/troll farms/pay-per-post operations in low-income states where labor is dirt cheap. Also, if your goal is to run a political influence operation against the US, your have to go well outside the English-speaking world so you don't get busted.

Oh yeah, and PE-owned residential property (a MAJOR contributor to the housing crisis) would either be ran as government housing, or sold off at a steady rate so as to not destabilize the market too much.

The US needs to nationalize the entire private equity industry and run public services assets like hospitals AS public services, then transfer ownership of all remaining for-profit assets to those companies' employees. (Or allow the employees to vote on putting the firm up for auction.)

In practice: we need to make sure no one person can ever accumulate that amount of wealth ever again (and expropriate similar wealth from Elon's peers), because as long as it's possible, there's no way to prevent narcissistic psychopaths like Musk from reaching that level of power.

There is NO way I see them getting anywhere near Kyiv before the entire Russian economy implodes, taking their ability to maintain that massive front line with it.
Personally, I don't even see them taking even the Slovyansk/Kramatorsk agglomeration, let alone anything bigger.
