Today's #BirdOfTheDay was set by Rob as #BirdsOnTheGround

And since it's also #TwosDay here's a pair of sandhill cranes I saw last weekend

Saw so many birds yesterday that I felt the need to post a second #BirdOfTheDay because I loved how this egret was contorted into a similar shape as the branch right next to it.

Here's a scape from the Orlando Wetlands a couple of weeks ago. 🌞

The wetlands are a somewhat hidden gem far removed from the hustle and bustle of our theme parks. Wide open spaces, very peaceful, and filled with wildlife.

I was in the right place at the right time with absolutely the wrong lens on my camera yesterday.

Normally would have rejected this photo but since today's #BirdOfTheDay theme is #lunchtime I felt compelled to do my best to crop in, clean it up and post it. 😁

Like clockwork, these flowers planted in our neighborhood bloom every morning and are gone by mid-afternoon. I believe they are called yellow alders.

I'm not sure that vultures are #underrated exactly, but you surely don't see a lot of pictures taken of them. Some might consider them the #worst?

This one was friendly and hung out just a few feet away from us. I think there's beauty there. 🌞

I really liked how this pink muhly grass was blowing in the breeze while the two sturdier plants were standing mostly straight against them.
