A Marx quote that makes me think about workers being forced to use AI by their bosses:

"Even the lightening of the labour becomes an instrument of torture, since the machine does not free the worker from the work, but rather deprives the work itself of all content."

Trotsky never said this but it remains correct all the same

Joe Rogan and Tucker Carlson, both of whom were VIP guests at the Trump inauguration and GOP festivities today, want you to believe they’re ‘independent’ and anti-Establishment journalists.
Ok.

The horrifying thing about the resurgence of fascism is the absence of a stong, militant, and organized socialist movement.

Upon further reflection maybe my love for this movie is me just really wanting something to fill that Bloodborne-sized hole
Enjoyed it but it also made want to replay Bloodborne (again).
Watching Nosferatu tomorrow and I have not been this excited about a film since The Hobbit (I live and breathe The Lord of the Rings trilogy to this day). Hopefully, it's not as disappointing.

You’ll probably see this screenshot floating around a lot but it really was wonderful to see Lynch put a scene in Twin Peaks: The Return where he has his character literally stare at the camera and say that you should either support trans people or die. I needed to hear that in 2017

David Lammy being an absolute rat of a human being as always.
Israel has killed over 60,000 people, destroyed or damaged 66% of all buildings in Gaza, and created the largest number of amputee children in modern history.

David Lammy said he's unable to determine whether Israel is acting disproportionately in Gaza.

Complicity in genocide👇
