Deserves everything he’s getting at moment.
Loved him at United. Probably was the right time for him to move on but at the same time, possibly would have flourished in Amorim’s formation, who knows.
Just happy for the lad that he’s excelling.

Lack of European action this season took me to Old Trafford last night for the Women’s Champions League.
Some good football on show but spoiled by a high school arriving on 40 minutes & only being fully seated around me by the 57th minute (including the 15 minutes over half time!)

There’s a bit of a weird argument from some about United’s 1st team squad/youth record & how it feels hollow after this past weekend, calling J.Fletcher’s inclusion a bit of a token gesture.

Checked out The Repair Shop on BBC1 as they’re restoring a Utd shirt from the 1958 FA Cup Final.
Missed the start so not sure if they mentioned who wore 5 in that Final, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t the AI answer Google gave me:

I, who is admittedly not a football coach, would set up this United team in a 4-3-3.
But if Amorim insists on building with a back 3, I truly believe setting up like this with an extra body in midfield would make a huge difference compared to the current 3-4-3 (or 5-2-2-1 as it more often looks.)

It feels “trippery” to take photos of the ground, but with this weeks news (which I’m not against, by the way) it feels like we need to all start really appreciating the old place and capture what ever memories (whether it be mentally or photographically) while we can!

Garnacho wasn’t great last night but has been ok in recent weeks.
Even then he has been a long way off his form from last season & very early this season.
I wonder if his knee injury is holding him back a bit. He injured it in October & has had it strapped ever since.

Has he asked to be referred to as this or is it just the web site going over the top?
