Manchester United.

Season ticket holder since 2013 - it’s probably all my fault! 🙈
20 years!!!!

I think what that also shows is how good Sesko & Cunha actually are & how a lot of the players from last season, however much they try, aren’t up to the job
November 24, 2025 at 10:18 PM
That was disgustingly bad!

How can you continue to play 3 at the back against 10 men?!?!

I know you believe in your system but not to the point you continue to have 3 CBs mark 1 centre forward when they have given up a body elsewhere on the pitch.

I knew we’d bottle it but not this badly!!

Looking forward to tonight & hopefully I can finally go to a home game this season without getting piss-wet through!

A bit nervous though, purely because most results went United’s way this weekend & we NEVER take advantage whenever that happens.

Absolutely buzzing for this fella. What a guy!

Deserves everything he’s getting at moment.

Loved him at United. Probably was the right time for him to move on but at the same time, possibly would have flourished in Amorim’s formation, who knows.

Just happy for the lad that he’s excelling.

Lack of European action this season took me to Old Trafford last night for the Women’s Champions League.

Some good football on show but spoiled by a high school arriving on 40 minutes & only being fully seated around me by the 57th minute (including the 15 minutes over half time!)

Two fullbacks at wingback, few chances created, but flashes of brilliance from Amad, Mbeumo, and another late comeback. This week's pod. @danielharris.bsky.social

There’s a bit of a weird argument from some about United’s 1st team squad/youth record & how it feels hollow after this past weekend, calling J.Fletcher’s inclusion a bit of a token gesture.

Like it’s the 1st time that’s happened!

I’ll never forget how close the record came to ending on this day..

Isn’t it nice having a goalkeeper?

Dorgu was excellent today.

Mbeumo is just a class apart. What a player!

De Ligt is a monster.

Hope Sesko’s injury isn’t too bad. Shame he couldn’t get his shot away just before he got injured to wrap the game up as I thought he did alright when he came on.

What an end to the game!

Didn’t deserve to go behind, but I guess we need to find a way to get 2 goals ahead because at the moment it looks like we’ll always concede 1.

Happy with the fight in this team and ok with the draw in the end given the circumstances.

I’ve been thinking about our LWB spot & what we might need there.

I think to progress Amorim’s system we need a winger there rather than a defender.

I’ve heard people say for us to buy Semenyo for that role but as daft as this sounds, he’s too good to play there.

One thing I’ll say about United today.

Last season, or even earlier this season, from 2-1 down we’d have lost that game 3-1.

So staying in the game and equalising is a sign of progress.

Mathues Chuna and Bryan Mbeumo are the best players ever. Pass it on…

Can’t stand Brighton & more specifically their fans.
Heard Andy Mitten on Talk of the Devils pod saying he doesn’t like them either because of a weird fan interaction he had & that’s exactly the same as what happened with me.

For those who fear AI is taking over, don’t worry too much.

Checked out The Repair Shop on BBC1 as they’re restoring a Utd shirt from the 1958 FA Cup Final.

Missed the start so not sure if they mentioned who wore 5 in that Final, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t the AI answer Google gave me:

Maaaan!

Going from Nuno to Postecoglou to Dyche is, stylistically, the wildest full 360 I’ve ever seen!
🚨🌳 Sean Dyche, set to sign contract until June 2027 at Nottingham Forest. Verbal agreement in place between parties with former Everton manager ready for PL return.

Those YouTube clips of Lammens at Antwerp did him no justice at all!

He looked really scruffy with his hands on them & a bit of a reactive, De Gea type keeper.

Very early days but his handling looks anything but scruffy & he looks very calm, in control & proactive.

More of the same, please!
October 19, 2025 at 6:59 PM
Unbelievable! Absolutely buzzing!

Lammens looks like he oozes calm & settles the defence. Makes a huge difference!

Cunha was immense!

Harry Maguire! From the days when he became a meme, for what he’s done today & the past 12 months he has well & truly become a cult hero!

UNITED! UNITED! UNITED!

Come on, Reds! Let’s do this lot today!

We are long, long, long, long, long overdue a win there!!!
October 19, 2025 at 8:51 AM
Can’t stand the man!

I don’t know what pisses me off more; losing the Europa League final to Spurs in such pathetic fashion or the fact it was to him and it gave him the satisfaction of backing up his “always win a trophy in my second season” bollocks!

Oddly I didn’t receive the stadium survey email last night.

I know the article says you won’t get it if you’ve opted out of marketing emails but they mail me all kinds of shite all the time so that can’t be the case.

The link to the survey is available via the article at 12 so I’ll do it that way.

Of the many things I hate about social media football culture, that ‘007’ thing is the one I hate the most!

It’s so stupid! Literally means nothing!

Other than being widely recognised because it’s James Bond’s code name, which has nothing to do with football, what’s the relevance of the 7?
