This is Desi, a sweet 8-ish month old kitty just rescued from a semi-feral colony. She arrived this morning, & I’ve set her up in the spare room with everything she needs to de-stress & start acclimating to indoors life. Our Gracie is incredibly curious.

As my partner was fetching the car yesterday AM, this freaking adorable floof showed up on the porch of the 2nd floor apartment we’d rented for our Philly getaway. I wanted to keep her so badly! She’s so lucky, though: the people of Manayunk are already transitioning her to being an inside kitty.

I had such a difficult time leaving our AirBnB rental, because this pretty girl showed up on the porch. ON THE SECOND FLOOR. And she wanted to cuddle… 🥺

I’ve started a campaign to acquire a young companion for our beloved Gracie. She has, in the year since I brought her home, befriended first a mouse & then a tiny snek. It’s obvious that she’s lonely & could use a fren. So. I soak find her a young kitteh to befriend & be their Mama.
