We have a new furry friend. 💕
This is Desi, a sweet 8-ish month old kitty just rescued from a semi-feral colony. She arrived this morning, & I’ve set her up in the spare room with everything she needs to de-stress & start acclimating to indoors life. Our Gracie is incredibly curious.

As my partner was fetching the car yesterday AM, this freaking adorable floof showed up on the porch of the 2nd floor apartment we’d rented for our Philly getaway. I wanted to keep her so badly! She’s so lucky, though: the people of Manayunk are already transitioning her to being an inside kitty.

Years ago when we lived in Richmond, VA, I framed a #CarterFamilyReunion photo, which had to be taken with a drone, for one of Pres Carter's grandchildren. I remember complimenting them on being able to bring so many people together & how much it must've meant to Jimmy & Rosalynn.
