At the moment, it's Sweden and Austria as the final splitscreen in Basel grand final.
It's also two songs that's not any ordinary ones. Two songs that have their things, making them stand out from the usual.

It pains me that people are defining songs by their chances in a song contest. Of course we love esc for being an exciting competition and want our favourites to do well but ultimately, if a song resonates with YOU then that's all that matters. Deslocado will always mean much more to me as a song.

Now that I've seen the official release of Kiss Kiss Goodbye, I decided to see the acoustic version of it from his performance in the Malta Song Contest.
It is honedtly much better than the official release. No jarring dance break section. Just a man evoking emotions.

Eurovision 2025 so far just doesn't have many songs that make me want to revisit them.
There are only 6 songs that make me want to revisit them while the others are either just okay or not for me.

I like that the first three entries of this year's contest are in their respective country's native language.
Maybe we might have our first year since 1998, where all the songs are in their country's native language!

Ngl, with a rewrite (not as in rewritten to work for Broadway, but overall), I can see the Eurovision movie work well as a stage musical.

I am glad that Yle is taking this seriously.
