Btw daughter’s cost for health care in the UK (you pay up front when you apply for the visa) will be about $2700 for 2 entire years. That’s about 1/5 what she would cost on our US plan.

It’s just one data point but my 21 year old daughter left for grad school in the UK last year and jumped at the opportunity to stay and work for at least a few more years - I think she is hoping permanently. I miss her so much but can’t blame her.

Boomer voting habits are not the worst - that would be my GenXers. But I agree with you because 1. Boomer politicians will not retire. 2. Neither party has prioritized affordable housing, college, and healthcare to help the lives of younger generations. People are fed up.

It should be a major tell to voters about which party tends to pass legislation that is actually helpful and popular, but 🤷🏻‍♀️

I guess my point is I hope that those jerks are also complaining on Reddit that they aren’t making enough money 😂
