35 years ago today, 14 women went to bed thinking about their finals, future in STEM and the upcoming holiday season. They didn’t know that these dreams threatened a man’s sense of self worth and that they wouldn’t survive to see their goals and aspirations become a reality

- South Korea: blocked by mass mobilization of citizens

- Brazil: coup leader indicted, barred from politics

- United States: coup leader re-elected with majorities in the legislature and a compliant Supreme Court

I’m not really sure when or why the Media decided that we all have to pretend that every day is the day we were born and that context for our political lives is irrelevant, but that’s what they’ve done. And it allows the gop to set every narrative with no responsibility for anything.

This echoes the massive movement that led to the impeachment of President Park Geun-hye in 2017 for corruption and abuse of power, showcasing South Koreans’ enduring commitment to holding leaders accountable.

I generally think that government should be hostile to corporations but if your business model is "we propel you through the sky at several hundred miles an hour" I want them FULLY up your ass at all times

A lot of people think everything will work out if we just play by the rules but don’t seem to recognize that rules only matter when everyone agrees to follow them and, well, that isn’t our present reality.

Well. While he’s pardoning folks….get all of the folks on death row pardoned, all those drug convictions for weed pardoned, etc etc etc.

The epitome of tone deaf privilege. I can't believe this man is being elevated to a position where he's able to do so much damage.
