Honestly, if this debate does have an impact, I'd be surprised if that performance helps the Liberals reach official party status, let alone opposition.

She was best when she was either refuting or berating Doug Ford, and that was genuinely enjoyable, but apart from her time spent talking about Transportation. She couldn't speak about policy, or defend her record when the challenger was anyone other then Doug.

Last place is Bonnie Crombie.

From the outset she just looked uncomfortable, she was stiff and speaking as if she was over excited through most of the debate.

She got smashed on question by both Schreiner and Stiles, even Ford got in a good dig about her housing record.

I will say, I noticed she once again didn't say a word about things such as ODSP, Electoral Reform, or rent control (crombie actually outflanked them on that last one)

Enough to maybe stop the bleeding? Not much else.

3rd place I'd put Marit Stiles.

She genuinely is a fairly strong debater, and comes off as a confident communicator. It's a shame the party's message is somewhat uninspiring.

She really shines when speaking about things she genuinely cares about.

Runner up is Mike Schreiner.

I thought Schreiner had a really strong debate minus a few missfired attacks on the ONDP.

He was very good one on one catching both Doug and Bonnie off guard with smart questions.

He probably did enough to win PSM.

Since he's already cruising to a majority, he can afford to shed a couple points, and none of the Opposition leaders landed a death blow.

He's not a good debater, but that's not the point, he just had to maintain course and he did that.

I missed a couple ridings but ya my topline numbers were pretty good.

I keep telling people I'm actually kinda good at this hahaha.

Is there honestly that much of a difference between a room full of Drama kids, and a room full of Poli kids? Apart from subject matter anyways.

We're just the drama kids of the humanities.

I was legitimately wondering if this had something to do with it.
