Totally!! Now I’m watching it again after a long time and I’m impressed by how good it is.
Btw I watched the bts of the MV once, and those were really good and cute too. In the background of each member’s introduction, other members are working hard, like quickly putting up the speech bubbles.

In fact, I heard that the song was written in standard Japanese at first but Ohashi-kun suggested changing it to Kansai dialect. It DOES work (at least for me) and now I’m a big fan of you guys. Great job.

So, I was REALLY surprised when I first saw them sing and dance “ねぇ” in the POP MALL tour video… cuz they were singing Kansai dialect lyrics, but the song, their outfits, and their dance moves were actually all cute. Impressive. That’s why “ねぇ” is still one of my favorite songs in Naniwa.

People often see Kansai ppl (especially men) as funny, wild, loud and their Kansai dialect makes that impression even stronger. Kansai dialect can be seen as cute, but it’s mostly when girls use it.
In my opinion, Kansai idols like Super Eight and WEST hardly focused on cuteness before Naniwa.

I love the MV and the song so much too… it's colorful and exciting, and their just-debuted freshness feels so bright. Also it is such a good introduction for recognizing their group name and each member like you said.

I love that part of Illuga and Hoyoverse is intentionally doing this i guess...

Sorry my reply became CRAZY LONG but I’m so obsessed with “the polite younger calling a certain elder in a special way” thing that I’m just too happy not to talk about it, so forgive me

Then Illuga has two ways to call Flins right? As for his politeness towards Flins, JP and EN are similar. He calls Flins "kimi" as "you", and "Flins-san" when he directly uses Flins's name. "Flins-san" really fits his polite character but "kimi" is like "you suddenly call him like a close friend ?"

Actually I was hoping Tsukasa would call Leo "Leo-san" instead of “Leader” in the future since I read Scout Robin Hood(He called a kitty "Leo-san" and he said “Leo-san” for the first time there, right?). So, now I'm too happy about it as a leokasa liker.
February 5, 2026 at 3:37 AM
Though "天祥院お兄さま" is also special, he calls Eichi like that cuz Tsukasa has known him for years. But Leo…?? They've known each other for such a short time but Tsukasa calls Leo in the most intimate way. The fact drives me crazy

Or maybe Illuga calls most people “君” and it's not just for Flins? I should check it.
February 4, 2026 at 12:23 PM
It feels like Illuga thinks flins is around his age, or they are close enough to speak to Flinz like that? If I were in the Hoyoverse Japanese localization team, considering Illuga’s character, definitely I’d choose “あなた” instead of “君”.

It's just how Japanese phrases sound, and sometimes I think about the difference between “oshi” and “tantou” in idol fan culture.

I’d heard before that naniwa fans are kinda quiet during concerts, tho.
I wonder how the C&R culture can be established at their concerts…
If so, I think both the idols and the fans can feel a sense of unity more in the same space and the concerts would be much more enjoyable.
