It’s been 45 days since Adelita Grijalva was elected, and Mike Johnson still refuses to swear her in. He is blocking the release of the Epstein files and protecting pedophiles.

Trump’s aid cuts are killing far more Nigerian Christians than Islamic terrorists are. Independent monitors in Nigeria report 33 deaths this year in attacks against Christians (fewer than the 88 Muslims killed). But Trump cut off aid that helped save 270,000 lives a year in Nigeria. 270,000 > 33.

DAILY DEMS DOING THE WORK, MAKING NOISE, AND FIGHTING BACK Day 284
The biggest message right now is that Rs could end this shutdown at any time IF they cared about their constituents being able to literally survive, and our Dems are doing a great job driving that home over and over again.

There is a lot going on this week. And in my Intel Briefing, I go deep on three important topics.

1️⃣ The shutdown, health care and court orders for the President to pay SNAP benefits.
2️⃣ My legislation, the No Troops in Our Street Act
3️⃣ Banning the Presidential pardon

THREE WINS TODAY(actually, thousands), Nov 5, 2025

I made a breakdown of several elections from each state, which you fan find in my newsletter. I chose these states purely from a random state generator cause every state with an election had Dem wins.

If you want to add more wins in the comments, please do! And, I hope like Doomerella, you learned once and for all that your vote is your voice and that voice is your super power! Next elections are Tuesday. Do you have any?

Today’s three wins is not three, it’s thousands, I am trying to find at least one win from every single state that had an election yesterday so if you know about a win from a state that hasn’t been getting a ton of attention, let me know below and include a link!

THREE WINS TODAY, Nov 5, 2025
It literally took me all day, but today’s wins are made up of dozens of our election wins yesterday. I tried to find at least one to two wins per state, I missed a ton so please add anything you don’t see.

As Thanksgiving nears, families should be looking forward to time spent together—not worrying about how to put food on the table. But Republican cuts to healthcare, tariffs, and the longest shutdown in history are making it so much harder for Americans to make ends meet.

We deserve better.

Stop fretting over whether Democrats should run moderates or progressives, @joshtpm.bsky.social writes.
The election takeaway is to "find candidates suited to their constituencies and focus on cost of living issues and opposition to Trump's autocracy."

I hope last night taught you that mayor elect @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social was the perfect candidate for New York City. AND governor elect @abigailspanberger.com was the perfect candidate for Virginia.

And this is what it means to be a big tent party.

You Can’t Beat Winning!
We scored a good touchdown after a grueling drive down the field, but it’s not even halftime yet. No dancing in the end zone. Act like you’ve been there before.

Katherine is the primary caregiver for her autistic, nonverbal daughter.

Republican cuts to health care will prevent her daughter from accessing the care she needs and force Katherine to choose between putting food on the table or paying medical bills. We must keep fighting to protect Medicaid.

Trump’s war on universities isn’t about budgets. It’s the authoritarian playbook—a ritual purge erasing inquiry, silencing memory, and hollowing the civic infrastructure of democracy.

Every vote counts.
When it comes to voting: “use it or lose it.”
Show him right now that we intend to use it!

Prop 50 is not about Democrats versus Republicans — it’s about complacency versus democracy.

Donald Trump is trying to steal this election from us. We must fight back and hold him accountable.
