I have become not necessarily pro-hypocrisy, but definitely of the view that *some* hypocrisy is an inevitable byproduct of a person or system trying to live up to ideals worth anything. Only saints or total pieces of shit live lives totally without hypocrisy and there’s more of one than the other.

Authoritarianism is a very real threat, but everything the administration is doing is making it more difficult for them to consolidate power. However, the opposition has to mobilize in full force and present a clear alternative if it is to succeed.

The Democrats need to have somebody that is ready to go in front of the cameras and explain to the American people what is going on and how the Democrats can fix it. Like I said, every day that passes is another day closer to 2026. The Dems need to present a coherent alternative now! 5/x
