He was. Met him one time at a show many years ago. I was going to use those very words to describe him as we wrote about Frankenstein yesterday.😊

Yes! The Marvel edition from 1983 would likely be the best deal. It was released as a HC by Dark Horse in the 2000's, and is likely pricey. Bernie also released a series of three portfolios to keep the project going. Some links...

There is a lot of pathos and sympathy for The Monster in the story. Shelley initially depicts him as gentle and innocent until he is rejected and abandoned. Mary Shelley's novel is really the first published SF book with similarities to various times, like the present.

I remember hearing Desmond Dekker almost every day on top 40 am radio beginning in 1967. Great singer, songwriter and musician.

The "scary part" of the story is that these little operators had pure alcohol running through their veins and were able to attack someone by injecting them with needle like projections under their fingernails. 🎥👽🎬

It is for certain, and Harvest Home is one of those network mini-series that was an underrated gem. Interesting actor and author. Makes me wonder where those stories "came" from.

I recall seeing the other when it was released and it made me curious about the book. I then discover that my mother had a copy and was quite impressed with his writing.

That's very kind of you, Zeb, but you're a very intelligent, highly educated individual. I learned all my big words reading comics. 😁
