I’ll never forget being with a room full of friends in college tuning in to see the opener. We’d heard there were new uniforms coming. “They must be some kind of warm up jersey,” I said. Everyone thought they were awful. People despised the Flying V until nostalgia kicked in many years later.

I asked Teddy Blueger who was the best cook/chef on the team. The matter remains undecided. Perhaps you could get to the bottom of this important question.

I’m at the game. The crowd is fine. A few scattered empty seats. A lot of people were late, though. Understandable for an early start.
