When others promote uniform crops, Philippine farmers practice diversity with 1000s of varieties rich in nutrition, taste & adaptation. This diversity protects both ecosystems, livelihoods & our future. It was thus very important for me to attend the @planttreaty.bsky.social symposium #FarmersRights

What can agrobiodiversity do for nutrition, economy, and climate? www.devex.com/news/sponsor...
Any system is as resilient as the diversity of its components — whether it's the economic system or the ecosystem. The more diverse our food sources are the more resilient and healthier we are.
What can agrobiodiversity do for nutrition, economy, and climate?
Today’s homogenous food systems put our health, food, and nutrition security at risk. Kent Nnadozie tells Devex why policymakers need to embrace biodiversity initiatives to build resilience.
