Did you know that without seaweed, you wouldn’t have modern computers or AI today?
It all started in 1908 when a Japanese professor tasted his wife’s seaweed soup (kombu dashi) & discovered monosodium glutamate, the source of umami. That led to creating Ajinomoto in 1909.
