I never (to my knowledge) got COVID, so I used your comments as a foundation and tweaked things a bit. Sharing here in case anyone wants to use:
I understand you're planning to prevent people under 65 from getting new COVID vaccines. I am writing to demand you walk that decision back and allow anyone who wants to get COVID vaccines as we have been for the past four years. A cornerstone of this nation is freedom. I won't argue the merits of the COVID vaccine or against the rampant anti-intellectualism/anti-science stances being taken by this administration, because they actually don't matter in this instance. You need look no further than the fact that it is legal in many places in this country to ride a motorcycle without a helmet. If that tells us anything, it tells us that America is about the rights of the individual even if they are potentially at that individual's expense. If I can ride a motorcycle without a helmet, I should be able to get a COVID vaccine when under 65. Let us make our own choices and get the vaccines we want and need, and respect the liberties this nation was founded upon..
