New House Republican budget cuts insurance coverage (Medicaid/CHIP) for ~36 million people, about half of whom are CHILDREN to extend tax breaks for people like me (plus those with way more money) that I can assure you really don’t need them.

Drug overdoses in the United States are decreasing for a # of reasons (naloxone, better methadone access, changes in drug supply, tolerance to fentanyl). Expanding access to buprenorphine prescribing is likely playing a major role too!
