They are lovely trees aren’t they, especially in a gentle breeze. Autumn is definitely the easiest time of year to pick them out

That doesn’t sound like much fun! Interestingly I also had a job doing this as a teen - lopping the tops of thistles on the hills for days on end, to improve the grass for the cows. I didn’t mind as I got the quad bike, but also not great pay!
