Doesn’t it?! I’m still in the (very early) stages of brainstorming so it’ll be a while before it’s remotely book shaped, but we’ll see where it goes!

I’m typically a one project at a time girlie, but truly it’s been enjoyable and even refreshing to work on these two particularly stories concurrently, especially because of the vast differences between them (5/?)

I don’t know if either of these will make it to publication (I always hope anything I write will be published one day). But I’m having a good time with both stories, figuring out the threads of each as I write (4/?)

Overall they’re vastly different stories but I’ve made a lot of progress by drafting them concurrently. When the inspiration/motivation for one flags, I’ve been able to switch over to the other for a while. Sometimes I even write a bit of both in the same day (3/?)

The fantasy is also first-person but in past tense, which I’ve had a bit more experience doing compared to present tense, but still feels new as I’ve never written a full draft in first-person before regardless of tense (2/?)
